Coaches and mentors have the power to transform teaching and learning.
Coaching and mentoring are high-impact professional development practices that help new and experienced instructors improve their teaching skills over time. In order to model and support the application of purposeful and reflective activities, effective coaches and mentors collaborate with teachers. Teachers are also encouraged to reflect on their attitudes about teaching, learning, and equity.
To fulfill the special requirements of teachers, we work with coaches and mentors to help them acquire a body of knowledge, a variety of skills, and practices that are consistent with their duties and responsibilities. They learn how to support teachers' content-specific teaching planning, implementation, and assessment, as well as how to create the conditions, structures, and communities in which teachers may thrive.
